Setup
Prerequisites:
- Install ROS 2 Humble
Ignition Fortress
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install wget
sudo sh -c 'echo "deb http://packages.osrfoundation.org/gazebo/ubuntu-stable `lsb_release -cs` main" > /etc/apt/sources.list.d/gazebo-stable.list'
wget http://packages.osrfoundation.org/gazebo.key -O - | sudo apt-key add -
sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install ignition-fortress
Workspace
mkdir ~/clearpath_ws/src -p
cd ~/clearpath_ws/src
git clone https://github.com/clearpathrobotics/clearpath_simulator.git
cd ~/clearpath_ws
rosdep install -r --from-paths src -i -y
colcon build --symlink-install
Setup path
mkdir ~/clearpath
Copy your robot.yaml
into ~/clearpath
Launch
ros2 launch clearpath_gz simulation.launch.py
